18U Charlton Takes Home Red Crew Elite Championship in First Tourney of the Season

September '25 - Chehalis, WA - While the top of the leaderboard had Avengers teams everywhere (see related article), it was 18U Charlton that came up on top as the Red Crew Elite tourney Champ. In addition to the lock-down defensive play and the pitching clinic that was put on, the bats were on fire as well. The club hit for a .395 average on the weekend with 43 RBI, 51 hits and 14 extra base hits. Fielding percentage was nearly perfect, with SportsCenter-esque plays made all over the field. The pitching staff of Katie Trail, Letty Romo, McKenna Ward and Ella WIlliams had an absolute gem of a weekend, with a combined ERA of 1.207 with 25 strikeouts and allowing only 4 walks and 5 earned runs through 29 innings pitched. Amazing performance and fantastic way to start out the 2025-2026 season.
